With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

Happy Birthday Erin - March 9

Erin is the very essence of Esme, ta da: esmessence!
She has beautiful, very bright, and challenging children and she handles them with grace and love. E is a professional at making her house look and feel like a place of beauty and warmth. I am so happy that a girl (woman is just to ancient) who has become my sister is also one of by best Twilight friends. Some how I just knew she would love sharing this world as much as we love sharing our every day one.
This picture is the official "Esme" logo.

After I found this picture I realized I should have gotten you a whistle for your birthday. But then I thought about the reference I made here somewhere about the number of times I am close to going over the edge during interactions with my kids. Well if you blew a whistle at every "teetering on the edge of losing it" moment, and those occured even a fraction of the amount as mind occur, I think your ears would be ringing with the added shrill noise. So instead I hope a heart-shaped crystal will suffice.

Love you E.

A favorite Esme moment for you to enjoy:
"-- you should hear the arguments they get into! Actually , I hope you don't, you would think they were raised by a pack of wolves."

I wish I had my NM. I would add some more.

Happy Birthday Erin, I mean Esmessence! It has been so fun getting to know you, and it's because of our Twilight connection. That's actually pretty awesome of Twilight. You are such a cool person, easy to be around, fun personality with an infectious laugh. I truly hope you have a wonderful day with your family and hope you've had a nice birthday weekend, you deserve it!

So also, you're name really does fit you so well. And from what I've learned about you so far, everything on this post seems just right.
I love Esme's character. I love how much she loves her family, and loves Bella. I think of how positive she always is, I love that in a person. I'll share an Esme quote too. I just love her sweet response to the vote issue, when Bella asked what her's was, she says:
"Yes, of course, Bella. I already think of you as part of my family."
She has such an ability to love...

Happy birthday Erin! Wow, I have so much to say and I'm not sure where to start. First, I want to say thank you for being such a wonderful older sister. Before our parents married, I didn't have any older sisters. But you (and Renae) have been examples to me of how I need to treat my younger sisters. Second, Erin, you have always known how to be there for me right when I needed you. You have a way of making people feel better with your words & actions. You may not remember, but back in our "youth" at the BYU Law Library, you were there for me in a time of need. Your words helped me to get through such a difficult time in my life. Thank you for that. I love you so much and am grateful to call you sister. Third, it has been so fun to get to know this side of your personality through this TW blog. I'm so glad you finally read the books so we could share this uplifting obsession. Have a fabulous birthday!!!

I've decided after reading these that I didn't gush nearly enough. I admire E in so many ways. She truly is one of the most amazing mom's ever. And even though she is incredibly talented her gifts for showing her love to others stands out the most!

That's better.

I want to put the scene at the airport with Esme and Edward but I don't have my New Moon. So if someone else could feel it in, I'm sure E and all of us would really enjoy it!

Dear E,
I'm late but still want to wish you a happy birthday- I don't know you well enough to "gush" but I know some of those that have gushed- so I will say ditto to their words. You need to save this post so that if you ever have a bad day- reread it and believe it! Have a wonderful day!- Jillikie

I am so sad, I posted a comment last night, and it must not have worked, because clearly it's not here...so I will try to remember all that I said.

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone for all the nice words and kindness - W-o-w, very undeserved, but it was so fun to read. I was not able to check the blog all day until later at night, but it was on my mind. Thank you MA for the great Birthday post!!

I loved all the Esme celebrating as well. My favorite from Esme is probably just the first things we actually hear from her in TW, when Bella comes to the house that Sunday after the meadow. She clearly is impressed that Bella came (brave is the word that Bella uses). "We're so glad you came, " she says to Bella. I think that not only does she think Bella is brave for coming, but I think she is just so grateful that Bella is here now for Edward...they have waited so long to see him happy like this.

I laughed when MA posted about how Esme hopes that nobody thinks that the boys were raised by wolves...I have a phobia that people are going to think that about my kids!!!

Love you all!!
