I'm working on another series of quotes, but here is one more from the last set, that I found today and could not leave out. So you will only have a day or two to guess it.
Theme - hairy moments:
"He pulled me close, burying his face in my hair."

4/22 - Quotes of the Week
I had so much fun with Erin's quote last week that it gave me an idea. A little over-the-top idea, but you surely realize who you are dealing with at this point. So to shake things up a little bit, there are no assigned quotes. But each person can only guess on 1 per day, but in any order. This was so fun researching. Hopefully the theme for these quotes will be obvious:
- Unguessed quotes will remain in italics.
- "Which one is the boy with the reddish brown hair?"
- ". . . closing his eyes again and pressing his lips against my hair."
- "He pulled the end of my ponytail and chuckled."
- "I prefer brunettes."
- "I let my cheek press against his hair, felt the texture of it on my skin, . . ."
- "Was this why she let her tresses fan out between us?"
- ". . . catching between his fingers a strand that was fluttering in the light breeze."
- " . . .his free hand twisted into my hair and held my face securely to his."
- "-- partially obscured by a tangle of rain-darkened bronze hair . . ."
- " My heart spluttered hyperactively."
- " . . . his hair wind-blown from running."
- " . . . and it was very distracting."
- "To my shock, cascades of curls tumbled out."
- ". . . watching the sun and wind play in his bronze hair, more human than any other part of him."
- "It took a great deal of effort just to force my hands to free themselves from his hair . . ."
Bonus:"Your hair looks like a haystack . . . but I like it."

4/2 Quotes of the Week
Oh I love finding quotes. I hope you like guessing them. It is so satisfying. Only 45 days until we start reading again (I upped the date by 2 weeks. I can't stand it!)

Bonus: "I looked up to see him smiling a crooked smile so beautiful that I could only stare at him like an idiot."

Quote of the week February 19-26
Quote #1:His eyes were wickedly amused.
"Will you please allow me to finish?"
Quote #2:"I'll always want you," I reminded him...
Bonus:"I demand that you take me home."
It's my turn to do the quotes this week, that way Twilightmom can have a chance to guess right along with the rest of you. I hope they aren't too easy, but have fun anyway!

Quote of the Week Jan 29 - Feb. 4
You will find the new rules in the comments on this post. I keep tweaking them, so just take a quick peek before guessing. Interest in guessing the quotes is dying down, but I hope the pleasure in reading them never does. So enjoy!

Quote of the Week Jan. 22-29
Okay team, we need new rules. We are really too good at this. So since we are all about Twilight benefiting our brains, we are going to test our memories more than ever. So here are the guidelines:
1. No more open book answers. You cannot look up the quote anymore. We are going to change from who can find the quote first, to who can remember unaided, where it comes from first.

Another Quote for the Week Jan.15-22
Sorry, I forgot. This one was submitted by Runswithvampires, so she will watch and see how fast you all find it. Even if we do find it quickly it is so wondeful to savor these phrases.
"I let my cheek press against his hair, felt the texture of it on my skin, smelled the delicious scent of him."
Now read it again, slowly. Sigh. . . . . . . . okay now run and find it.

Quote of the Week Jan. 15-22
Well I had a hard time choosing this week. Usually I can't find one I think will work, now I just hope I chose the one that will be fun but not too easy. Never feel badly if you find it too quickly. We have lots of back-up quotes.

Another Quote for the Week Jan.8-15
Well I am starting to think that I am going to run out of quotes soon. You are all just to savvy. So this one could go quickly, but I'm doing my best to pick tricky ones. This one is pretty vague but I don't dare give any more of it away.
"Get some rest, Bella, honey. You look exhausted."
Remember we need to know the book and the situation in the story. Page numbers are not required, just a detailed description.
On your mark, get set, go. . . .

Quote of the Week: Jan 8-15
"I was surprised to find a strange kinship growing between myself and Emmett, especially since he had once been the most frightening to me of them all."
So this will either be really easy or really hard. I am anxious to see how well read you all are. This is so fun. I would welcome another quote challenge myself if anybody comes across one they would like to test me with.

Quote of the Week Jan 1 - 8, 2008
Well this is an experiment. I am throwing out this quote
and I don't even know if it actually comes from the books.
I think it does, but I don't know where. So I am hoping
that all you great Twilight minds can solve the mystery.
I am going to need a page number if anyone finds it.
Thanks for your help. Happy hunting.

Quote of the Week, Dec. 26 - Jan. 2
Since this is Christmas, I thought a quote about gifts would be appropriate. You have to find both quotes this time.
1. Quote #1: "And speaking of Italy and cars I stole there, you still owe me a yellow Porsche"
2. Quote #2 "Are you going to take her Porsche back?" "Of course not. It was a gift."
Can you find them?

Quote of the Week Dec. 17-23
So we are all getting very busy, aren't we? That's okay. 'Tis the season to be busy. But I am still hanging on here for anyone that needs this blog this week. It's funny that weekends are slower. Apparently we don't need as many diversions on the weekend. Anyway here is this weeks quote. I know this will be tricky, because it happens in a lot of places. But you have to find the exact moment. Good Luck!
"A dozen emotions played across his face. Some I recognised. . .anger. . . pain. . .and then he seemed to collect himself and his expression became amused."

Quote of the Week Dec. 10-16
I apologize for posting this a day late.
Just a reminder, publish comment where the quote specifically comes from (no page # required, but which book and the situation). Trisha or I will let you know as soon as someone has guessed it correctly. Good Luck!
"He stood in the middle of the kitchen, the statue of Adonis again, staring abstractedly out the back windows. Then his eyes were back on me, and he smiled his heartbreaking smile"
