There's just a few more updates on the Lexicon today. They have chosen a high school to film at, unfortunately it's not Forks HS, but they may still use exterior shots of it for the film. There's a link on the Lexicon that shows pictures of the school, they're kind of fun to look at and picture scenes in your head. They also say that just because nothing has been announced about other actors filling the roles, doesn't mean they haven't been cast yet. The movie people will announce things as they will, and to ignore rumors otherwise (apparently there are many floating around.) I'm betting that's the case, because things seem to be getting rolling, the shoot date is set for about a month away! I think we'll continue to get a lot more news about it over the next few weeks. It's getting exciting!
Also, one cool thing - USA Today listed the biggest book sellers of 2007...Eclipse was number 3 on the list! I believe it's number 1 on the NY Times in the series category. Very awesome for SM!

I'm going to predict that BD will top the list for 2008, how 'bout the rest of you?
Umm, it tops my list.
(And that's all that matters).
I'm sorry BFB, but "tops my list" is an egregious understatement. I will forgive you this once. Tops my list. Tops my list!
Well now after that outburst I'm feeling a little to shy to describe where the release of Breaking Dawn fits in to my 2008 highlights. Even writing to fellow obsessive Twilighters, I'm afraid I might surpass you all with how much I am looking forward to this event in my life.
I think it will be very exciting to see where BD falls on the best-sellers. It will be coming out rather late in the year, but with the track record of the other 3, and the continued growth of her fan base, I think SM is in for a record breaking year. Pre-celebration is totally appropriate.
Sounds like you are having an Edward moment, there TM. ("He called you pretty...)
Very funny! I love how we can relate "moments" to different TW characters, it's true!
And BFB, I love that part at the prom, when Edward gets so upset about that "pretty" comment!
BFB you are good. Glad you realized I was kidding, as far as the over-reaction part. I'm telling you Edward and I relate very well. Thats why my heart is still broken over Eclipse, eve after months of therapy.
Have you ever done this with any other books, you know, quote them relative to any situation? We love it.
Books, no. Movies, yes.
The only books I have read this much are the Harry Potter books, and they just don't seem to have as many great things to quote. I think it's the difference in authors; Rowling focused on plot & references to mythology while SM focuses on dialogue & relationships.
But, my husband & I quote Napoleon Dynamite frequently (still). And Pixar movies (that's what you watch as a parent, & my husband is a 3D animator).
I agree, books no, never. But movies and some TV shows, yes, Justin especially. So this is so fun. I have never read ANY books this much. In fact, I'm trying to remember if I've ever read a book more than once, maybe "To Kill a Mockingbird." I'm sure there are others that I just can't think of right now. I never thought I had the time to re-read books I had already read once, there were too many out there that I wanted to read!
Not sure what came over me exactly...
By the way, my 3 year old says "Yessssss" and Justin and I totally laugh that she sounds like Napoleon.
My 6-year-old wears her black winter boots every day. Can't get her to choose anything else. Now that's a Napoleon moment I wish we could forget.
But (more on topic) I do have an idea of what came over you. I think it starts with an E.... and ends with an Edward.
Yep, I think you're probably right. :)
