I'm going to be gone this weekend, so I am stocking up for all of you.

You know I totally forgot that Bella says that little quote on the banner about Alice. Is that in Twilight? Probably, but maybe not. She frequently says cute, little things about Alice. That would be a tough one to know for sure. I'm loving Alice right now (always do though) in Eclipse, there are a lot of fun details about her personality that come out even more in this book. I'll share more on a different post about some fun stuff I've read.
I really like this picture of Alice! I looked in TW for this quote - in three different places -1) where Bella first sees her leave in the lunchroom, before she knows Edward. In this scene she does make a comment about her 'dancer's step' 2) when she actually meets Alice the day she and Edward are leaving to go hunting and 3) when they go to the baseball game in the field. But, no luck. It must be in NM or Eclipse. I'll have to keep looking!
Actually Trish, Erin and I are thinking that it may not be a direct quote. We absolutely cannot find it in Twilight. We have looked everywhere we can think of. Erin has found lots of little references to "dancer" but not word for word like the banner. I'm thinking now that the banner is just a great message that sounds perfectly Alice. Although I am remembering something like Alice being so graceful a ballerina would be jealous, or something. What do you think?
I'm like 90% positive I read that quote in one of the books. Or something similar. I remember thinking how much I like her writing when I read this. There are so many great quotes!
Ok, Adam remembers hearing it so it must be in Twilight because that's all he's read.
I found it! Thanks to all of you. Erin you just missed it. It was at the Cullen house like we suspected, only when Alice leaves Edward's room, not when she comes in. Twilight pg. 347 "Alice bounded up and to the door in a fashion that would break any ballerina's heart."
Can I just say, good job addicts. That was fun. Jill are you going to guess on the quote of the week? This Alice quote doesn't count. (Besides I won.(hee))
Wow, you guys are all so awesome! I never thought you'd actually give me an answer within 24 hours of my post, how lucky am I to have such good Twilight buddies. I KNEW I had read something like that somewhere too. That's pretty awesome that Adam could remember reading it. I love, love, love the way she has created Alice for us! She is definitely one of my very favorites.
I adore Alice. Love, love, love her. SM is one fantastic author making us fall in love with vampires, ache for teenage girls, and want to be best friends with Alice.
