With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

Bella for Vampire? BD Theories 3-26

Why should Bella become a vampire? Do you want her to? And when will it happen in the book? Then there is the all important question of how she will be turned. Lets hear your theories.

Here are the poll results:

The givens were: Edward cannot become human and Bella and Edward will get married. Do we still want Bella to become a vampire?

21 people voted that they want Bella to become a vampire. Only 1 voted that they don't want her to. Will we ever know who cast that vote?

As to whether or not Stephenie will have her become a vampire, 19 people think it will happen and 2 don't think so.

Any more thoughts voters?

While you were waiting . . .

So I have decided that April's TA meeting will be Breaking Dawn theories rather than a book review. Instead, if you are able to force yourself to read something else while waiting for Breaking Dawn and our group read of the Twilight Saga, tell about it here.

Mar. 31 & 24 - Dazzled Daily

I'm going to keep this post going for another week rather than starting a new one.

I went to some very sunny places this weekend, and on the way there my husband announced to our car that he was glad this was a Twilight Free Zone. I did not bring my black and red "triple combination" only my brown leather one on this trip. Well I just laughed, ha, ha, tossed my hair or something for emphasis, and pointed out that he was mistaken. I tried to do a quick calculation of how many fleeting TW thoughts had run through my mind in the 12 hours we had been traveling, but numbers don't matter. 2nd nature, you know?

I had a few extra Twilighty moments though and I'll share a few in the comments.
Please add any you have. They always bring a smile.

Mar. 24 - Movie News

I am always tweaking this Blog. I think I will add movie news each week to one post, like this. So you will have to keep rechecking this post for new news. Let's see if that will work.
*But don't miss the spectacular movie picture link I added yesterday to last weeks post.

March 31
So I never found the link that stopped working on the photos from an earlier post. This link has lots of photos. Some from a variety of other posts and some that I have never seen. There always nice for a diversion, and hopefully the link will stay:
http://www.fanpop.com/spots/twilight-series/photos/

March 28
The Lexicon has posted an interview with Solomon/Sam. It is very entertaining. It doesn't have any movie tid-bits but it is a fun read. I wanted to post here what Solomon's sister, who had previously hosted a book club to discuss the book Twilight, had to say when he announced to her that he was given a role in the movie. Very funny!

March 27
Introducing Billy Black. He looks perfect I think! His name is Gil Birmingham.
March 27
Guess what's back? The plaid jacket. I had to add this picture because it just made me laugh and think of how funny you all are. If you want to drool over a picture of Robert's autograph you are going to have to look that up yourself.

March 24:
This link has a great little story about a lady meeting Robert on the set of the movie:

March 24:
So this location has been confirmed as being used in the Twilight Movie.

If this isn't the Cullen house, nothing else could be! Ahhhh! It better be. What else?

Mar. 19-23 More Movie News

March 23:

Holy Hyperventilating, gasp, faint . . . crash . . . come to. . . pick yourself up. . . get back on your chair. . . breath. . . breath . . .
Oh my, I'm breathing evenly again. The explanation:
Well I am back in town and frantically unpacking. Actually I am leisurely enjoying my quiet time. I sat down for the only real look at my hobby I have had in a long time (yep, days). I can't post the pictures I found because the photographer doesn't want people too, but I really need some company for my freak-out fit. The photographer seems professional and our vampires have their make-up on, and the right clothes, and for fear of sounding like too big of a dork, I wont go on for an entire paragraph saying how amazingly awesome these pictures are. Really if no one else falls off there chairs (even figuratively) than there is really something wrong with all of you. Take a look at these:
http://amhphotography.typepad.com/photos/kalama/index.html
There are a LOT of them, but worth every minute. Just click on the first thumb-nail, and then browse with the "next" feature.

March 19: Well I am frantically getting ready to go out of town but I can't leave without a peek here.

There is too much movie news for me to keep up with right now, so you are going to have to go to the Lexicon for it. The link is on the blog. http://www.hisgoldeneyes.com/ is my second favorite site. Yesterday's post has the twilightmoms forum as well.

There are great pictures today. Robert looks really, really good.
I actually voted for him in our poll.
Kristen won the vote but it would be fun to hear who you voted for and why.
Ashley as Alice won the Cullen poll vote, with Esme and Emmet next. So who do you think they have done the best job casting?

And here is the official Twilight Movie site (its just a front page but very cool!)

Mar. 18 - Movie News

(click on the picture to enlarge)

Well friends. I see that to get ANYONE to say ANYTHING on this blog, I have to have movie gossip. The fact is I am actually getting behind on it. Lots going on. I still have to admit I think those Volturi mom's are a little nuts (do you think we would stalk the shooting sight if it was being filmed here?), but the fruits of their labors are pretty sweet.

I like the movie updates mostly because it helps me keep it in perspective. My take: much of the movie is really going to be great! Has to be! Much of the movie is going to be SOOOOO lame, and wrong, and incomprehensible.
So here is a link to some great shots during the van crash scene: http://twilightmomsforums.freeforums.org/on-set-forks-high-kalama-school-pics-added-t3878.html

*In my unfortunately not very humble opinion, as fun as the movie stuff is to gush about, true addicts still love to discuss the real deal. Don't leave me here alone you guys. Lots of good posts now and coming.

Now gush away. . . . . . .
(Emmet with Topaz Eyes: perfection!
click to enlarge, its even better.)

Sorry about that!!!

Sorry about the Coop look a like meter thing! How embarrassing! I don't know how that ended up on here, that was on my family blog. Anyways--again sorry! I think I removed it for you all. Ooops!

Twilighters Anonymous Schedule

Here is what I am proposing to get us through until Breaking Dawn:
My plan is to hold our meetings on the 2nd Thursday of the month, unless I let you know otherwise. We always appreciate volunteer hostesses, but NO pressure.
Unlike my style in many other areas, I am actually willing to consider other ideas for this schedule. If you have a great alternate plan, please let me know. It doesn't mean I will use it, but I do promise to think about it. Harsh? Well you should have seen me when someone else was googling MY Edward-Gap-Model-picture.
I very typically digress. How about this:

April - Book Review: read and review a book other than Twilight. Everyone would have something different to share and would give us something to look forward to reading, if we ever need something else.
May - Breaking Dawn theories: I would like to start BD theory posts until then. We can recap it all and add more.
June: - The Host: discuss the Host, and of course, the first chapter of BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!! See what our theories are after reading that chapter. Breathe, breathe.
Also begin reading the Twilight Saga together and discussing chapter by chapter on-line.
July - CSP: maybe another Cyber Slumber Party? July is always a busy month. Maybe we will just continue our chapter discussions on-line.
August: Breaking Dawn reactions: well I just don't know how to handle this one.
Some ideas:
  1. Read it together starting at midnight Aug.1 - has some logistical problems.
  2. Read it on our own and then meet the evening of Aug. 2 to discuss our reactions - assuming everyone will have finished by then.
  3. Give people a few more days to digest it, and hold a special BD review party asap.
  4. Read it the 2nd time through with a chapter discussion on-line. (this is kind of an extra option and I really like it.)

Really I can't find the perfect BD scenario so, help!

BD Theories - Why not Bella for Vampire?

So Marti/Dazzled freaked us all out a few weeks ago with a frightening scenario:

"I have a theory for BD that I have been thinking about for quite a while. Mind you, It's NOT how I hope things will turn out, but I think it is possible... You know how when you take your child (or yourself) to the doctor to get immunizations, they actually inject a very small amount of the "disease / virus / etc" into them?? Well, maybe because James already bit Bella, she will now be immune to being changed into a vampire.... Like getting chicken pox, and not being able to get it a second time. "

Well there is a lot to discuss before it comes out about what might happen in BD. So I thought every week or so we could discuss a theory, idea, hope, question, etc. I thought we could get one of the toughest out of the way. And I love our meeting discussions, but this gives us more time to really think and discuss so I hope people will participate. I have been waiting a long time for this, I just hope its not too painful.

Why might Bella not become a Vampire?
This isn't really whether you want her to or not, although you can talk about that too, but more what will SM do and why?
So reaction to Marti's theory and then take it from there.
And rest assured the next discussion will be, "Why she will/should become one".

Reaction to Last Night Drama

Late last night a group of amazing, smart, witty, and enthusiastic women were found chatting online about none other than the world wide phenomenon -- Twilight. Their insight and humor would have left you speechless (laughing to hard to speak to be exact).

Please put all reactions to this story here.

Edward at the Mall

If you are reading these for the first time - start with the "online discussion post" first. You can easily follow our comment trail from there.

Was I any more Twilight obsessed at Christmas than I am now? Its hard to say. But I am casually shopping by myself one day in December (no kids, of course, and DUH!) when I walked past the gap window. Then I literally stopped in my tracks, did an about face and walked back to stare at the add in the window.

I don't know how to describe why it happened, but there before my eyes was Edward's torso. PERFECT replica. How do I know? Well. . . .

Anyway, I think I called RWV right then and there. Did I? She will have to fill that in. But I think at that point I described how perfect the add was, because this very fit boy was holding a brunette girl up in the air with one hand (at this point I must shout - DID NO ONE ELSE SEE THIS ADD!). So the entire thing just screamed Edward at me. It was one fantastic moment.

*And I must always add this disclaimer, because I have the worlds most kind, patient, and loving husband, and I love your torso too! I love your eyes, your hair, your lips. . oops sorry blogging buddies. And I don't look at posters of guys usually. Really!

In order to view this picture you must first read all the comments. Its only fair. Hope it doesn't disappoint. Study it before you make your opinion known.

Online meeting discussion!

Hey everyone! Our online discussion is starting right away, we're just getting things a little more settled at home, but have a few fun posts in store for all of you! Why don't we start with commenting on this one if you're present tonight. Remember to keep refreshing for new stuff...

Eye Candy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry that term is so Twi-hardish, but SM used it, so hey! Okay this is a picture in the just out Entertainment Weekly, of Edward fighting James in the movie. No details, but W-O-W!
I mean what a pathetic understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the caption is hysterical and it's not perfect but it is too. I mean Twilight is going to be a movie - - - faint!

Want to read comment you might make but don't dare? Go to this Lexicon link. I kept laughing because they put in words my giddiest, girliest thoughts: http://www.twilightlexiconblog.com/?p=671#comments

And then there is this picture from SM's website of just James. Uhhhh . . . . without words here. But I don't care who the cast is, you absolutely HAVE to think Edward is the best looking whether you want to or not. Just use the power of positive thinking, and it could be a really beneficial mental excercise because James (Cam) looks amazing!

Here is a link to a bigger picture of both:http://twilightcullens.multiply.com/photos/album/28/UPDATE_Twilight_in_EW_and_Cam_as_James#1

Oh hey look what else I found. I mean is PALES in comparison, but it's still a good find.

The Host Signing

The tour dates have been posted. This is almost old news now, but May 6th will have more tickets available at Borders. Go to SM's website for all the details.

Dazzled Daily 3/11

What could be funny enough to make you laugh so much to yourself that you couldn't answer the "debit or credit" question to the cashier at the grocery store? (I wonder why I have so many grocery store TW moments?)

Well it was a Twilight moment but it didn't have to do with the books. Instead it was a moment where I was struck with such a funny memory of spending time with my TwilightersAnonymous friends, that I was laughing to myself, right in the check-out line.

But you would laugh too if the elderly lady behind you had only ONE thing in her cart:

A great big package of DEPENDS!
(Of course I would never laugh at the sweet lady, only the memories it conjured)

And if you're not sure how depends, friends, and Twilight are all related than you unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) missed the account of the last CSP (cyber slumber party). But just know that it is so fun to have reminders of what awesome ladies you are and how many little joyful moments thoughts of you bring me.
Please share any Twilight Moments you have this week. We all love to hear them.

Quote of the Week, March 11-18

Quote #1: "But . . .the . . you . . I . . insane!"

Quote #2: "Unthinkingly, my fingers traced the crescent-shaped scar on my hand that was always just a few degrees cooler than the rest of my skin."

Quote #3: "I usually felt grateful that I was the only person whose thoughts he couldn't hear . . . but now I wished he could hear me, too, . . . ."
Bonus:
"I guess I'm stuck with Mike Newton after all."

The Host Tour

I actually beat the Lexicon to this one. Shock!
So SM.com says the Host tour information and ticket details will be posted the Thursday morning , March 13th.

Go to Steph's website for details.
Nothing on the Thanksgiving point site yet either.
If anyone wants to band together to try and get tickets let me know. I don't know about "The Host" but I do know I would love the opportunity to see Stephenie, and then if she could sign one of my books, well I can't even imagine!

Want a Voice?

Just some quick trivia for anyone crazy enough to care. Sometimes I am, sometimes I am not. Today I am and I voted on the MTV website for the name of Twilight fans everywhere (not that they own the rights to name us, but I bet it will stick, whatever the result is).

If you want to voice your opinion, here is a link to the Lexicon. They will guide you from there:
Would you rather be a Twi-hard or a Twilighter? I know stupid question considering the blog you are on right now reading this. But we try and tolerate all opinions.

March TA Meeting - Online Chat

I knew I was too busy to hold our regular meeting this month but I thought of a great way to get us through to the next one (and you do know, that I know, that most of CAN live without this, but why when it makes life more enjoyable right?)

Thursday, March 13, 9:00 p.m, we will have an online chat in place of our regular meeting. RWV and I will start a couple of posts and then we will just see who joins us and where it takes us. I don't have any serious discussions lined up (still making you wait for BD theories, but not much longer, so don't even try to bring those up). But if you have some fluffy stuff you would like to discuss, bring it up. I think we will finally divulge the Gap Model Poster story that night, so you at least have that not to look forward too, because it just isn't a big deal. Anyway, this is an experiment, but I hope it proves to be a fun one. We will commit to staying online for at least an hour or so, so please join us later if you need too.

And could you leave a comment on this post like an rsvp., so I know you received this info? Thanks.

Happy Birthday Erin - March 9

Erin is the very essence of Esme, ta da: esmessence!
She has beautiful, very bright, and challenging children and she handles them with grace and love. E is a professional at making her house look and feel like a place of beauty and warmth. I am so happy that a girl (woman is just to ancient) who has become my sister is also one of by best Twilight friends. Some how I just knew she would love sharing this world as much as we love sharing our every day one.
This picture is the official "Esme" logo.

Dazzled Daily - 3/6

Hey, here is our Twilight Moments of the week post. We'll continue to create a new home for these about once a week, as long as it's needed. The last couple have had a pretty good amount of traffic. So, one small moment I had yesterday was when I went with my daughter on a field trip with her music class to Riverton Music to see all the instruments. I was very disappointed to not see a single white grand piano. I still had some good thoughts whirling in my mind of Bella and Edward sitting on a piano bench together, and could just picture Edward's beautiful, white hands flowing over the keys...
So, please share anything that dazzles you or reminds you of Twilight here!

Quote of the Week, Mar. 4 - 10

Quote #1: "Something tugged at my memory, elusive, on the edges."

Quote #2: "How do you stand that?" [he] muttered to me.

Quote #3: "And then there was Edward, on edge and clearly disappointed."

bonus: "Idiots," . . .

Movie news of the Week

This is Summit Entertainment's new graphic to promote the feature film Twilight.
Huzzah!
"Smooth Operator" has a fabulous interview here:

And Sam Uley is cast. That's kind of fun, huh? His name is Solomon Trimble. It sounds like he hasn't really had acting experience. Wow, he doesn't have any idea what's coming. Here is a link to the article about it. http://media.www.dailyvanguard.com/media/storage/paper941/news/2008/03/05/News/Role-In.Twilight.Lets.Student.Shine-3252653.shtml

In search of Memorable Quotes

Last item of business: I need some quotes to post on the blog. Not for guessing but just your favorite sayings from Twilight. I usually post a known line at the top of the blog, along with the quote guesses. I may change that though, and put the quote "contest" only in a post. So I never tire of sharing my favorite quotes but I would love to share yours too. You can either email them to me personally or add them as a comment to this post, and this can be on going. Just whenever you come across one, send it my way. Then each week I will share one at the top of the blog, with a great picture or something, and I will reference who submitted it. Sound good?

This was the last item of business on the next post, but I decided I don't really want everyone reading these quotes right now, in the comments, or they wont be as fresh and fun when you see them appear on the blog. So leave your quotes in the comments here on this post, but try really hard not to read quotes left by others. Just try okay? Maybe you will just have to email them too me if you can't stand it.

Blog Progress and Quote deficiency

Hi everyone. Tuesdays are the official first day of this blog's week, but I wanted to add this little post today.

First I have to say that I appreciate all the thank-yous for the blog. Even though I love doing it, I love knowing you love it too.
Next I have to whine and say, I am anxious to put up more new posts because many of the last ones haven't been commented on. I certainly don't expect people to comment on everything but I have been sharing "a few of my favorite things" so don't forget about them when new posts come out this week. If you can't tell, I'm not very good at balance. Feast or famine is my unfortunate style in every aspect of my life, blog posting included.
And even though I truly don't expect everyone to comment all the time, could people stopping in for brief visits, at least leave a little "hello" somewhere. It doesn't need to be profound, but otherwise we don't know you have been by and it makes us so happy to see that you have been here, any day, any time!
Last item of business:
moved this item to its own post. See new post titled "quotes for blog"
