With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

Happy Birthday Twilight Mom!

Well, this is a very late and sad attempt to wish our beloved Twilight Mom a very Happy Birthday - please forgive us. She did get a wonderful TWILIGHTY birthday (what could be better than spending your birthday week in Forks???), but we wanted to celebrate a little extra. She isn't a big fan of 'talking nice about the birthday girl', but since I'm sort of related - hopefully she'll forgive me... and MA, you'll probably have to choose your own favorite picture to post - sorry!

What do we say about our amazing MA? Lots, and lots...
I know I am not alone in some of my opinions of this wonderful person - especially when talking Twilight and her amazing blog ... how fun!! TM/MA first introduced these 'weird Vampire' books to me about a year ago. I have to admit that I was very skeptical about them - for one thing, who has time to read for pure pleasure? And, I was thinking they might be a little creepy. But, once I started TW, I literally couldn't put it down - sounds familiar, right? I specifically remember calling MA when I was reading Port Angeles...up until then, it was sounding pretty much like a regular book - but then they were actually saying out loud that Edward was a Vampire - WHAT!!! I called her saying that I didn't really know if I wanted to finish it - she nearly drove down to my house (Provo, at the time) and took it away - How dare I?! Anyway, to make a long story short - Port Angeles is now one of my very favorites!!

Well, enough about my silly, getting addicted story - I really owe MA for a LOT of happiness throughout this last year - so thank you from the bottom of my heart!! We've been teased over and over about what TW has done to our relationship - but if you ask me - it has been one of my favorite parts!! I sure have loved sharing this with you - I personally hope that it doesn't ever REALLY end...

You are such an amazing person, I admire you in so many ways and I'm very thankful to have you for my friend. I really hope your birthday was good, as good as a thirty-something birthday can be. And I wish you a very good, fun, manageable, happy year to come!

How embarrassing. And what a surprise! Thanks for the sweet words everyone. I can't tell you how much this blog has meant to me this last year. It has brought me so much pleasure and given me a creative outlet. So thanks too for giving me a little excuse to use my time here. We could all survive just fine with out it, obviously, but I'm glad we didn't have to. It has brought me angst too. You can't imagine or maybe you can, some of my reactions to discussions here. Ha, ha, all in good fun.
But new friends, and a silly, girly, totally indulgent passion for something like this was a much needed breath of fresh air!
You know, as fun as the trip was, I can't recommend spending your birthday like I did. Here is why . . .
You can't ever top it. Ever.
I have to remind everyone that I was given Twilight as a gift for my 35th birthday, last August 13th. It did change my life, not in a significant way, but in a wonderul, fun, found a new hobby and soon to be new friends sort of way.
So a year later I got my birthday wish: Bella and Edward got married on my birthday. (I will try to refrain from making any of my sad little BD remarks in this happy place and be grateful for the good that came out of that book.)
So that doesn't happen every year. But that was just the beginning.
Going to Forks/Seattle was probably one of the most enjoyable trips I have taken in my life. Drastic statement? Yes. But I can't even explain. Girls, Forks, Twilight, friends, food, comfy hotels, no kids (so happy to see them again after, mind you), shopping, Twilight, Friends, etc.
Wow. Really I can't explain.
And then the sweetest loving hubby to come home too, who said, and I quote "I guess you need a couple of these girl trips each year."
So there you have it. I'm going to have to make my birthday trips a tradition, otherwise let-down is inevitable. How does it rank? In the top 3 birthdays for sure. Really what more could I have wished for?

I love you all so very dearly. Those I forced to read it and those who found us through their need for others like us. Even those you are acquaintances still, your awesome. I can just feel the goodness from all of you. You are all such a joyous part of my life.
Will it ever end? Well the friendship wont. And my love for the Twilight "triple combination" will never end. Our passion for it will just die down a bit, sadly.
I don't know how long our blog will be here. But for now, I can't bear to give it up.
Thanks again!!!
