I wasn't sure if I should do a new post - with our new 'husband idea' thing - but I wanted to make sure that everyone saw these...they are pretty good. So, some of you know my husband first hand, others have just heard how he is - so hopefully everyone will read these and say, "of course, that sounds like Joseph"
#1 - My daughter comes running into the laundry room to find me with her front 'fangs' exposed and says, "Mom, I'm a vampire!" I found out later, that Joseph had bribed her with a cookie to come in and do that. We sure can't keep many secrets around here!
#2 - Same morning...Joseph cuts himself shaving, and he runs out of the bathroom saying (quite enthusiastically might I add), "I'm bleeding, I'm bleeding! Hurry suck it out, save me!!!" (now, he must of forgotten that you don't just get saved by getting your blood sucked out, you have to have the venom in you already, duh!! (hee, hee))
Now, even though these are totally in teasing me - to death - they did get me smiling and laughing, a lot!! And of course that's all I need to help me through a Sunday morning, right?

Oh no!LOL- Erin those are hilarious! I dont know your husband but that gave me a big laughing out loud anyway. Geez, all my husband does is asks if I'm in the Twilight Zone, then says, "ha, do ya get it?" yeah, real funny-not! Such a nerd.
Great moments Erin! I can totally picture Joseph doing that . . . and your cute little girl! :)
Very funny Erin! I love reading stuff like this. Thanks for sharing, it's so great that it really is on the forefront of our husband's minds at times huh?!
E I am so proud of Joseph not just for having these delightful moments but for letting you share them too!
Peter asked me tonight if my Twilight Meeting was tomorrow. Sadly I had to answer no.
Its just part of our family rythm now. Sweet!
I agree, my kids are pretty familiar with it as well. Like it's just how it is around here. My little Max has tried to be anti-Twilight with Seth (MA's son for those who don't know), but lately he's been asking me to tell him what the stories are about, it's pretty cute.
Also Esmessence, I have to say, very quick witted of your husband to think of that when he cut himself shaving! Unless he had that one planned too...
(kidding of course.)
My kids try to be anti but really they love it. Even Seth, the anit-campaigner asked me the other day where Edward had gone. You know the picture of the real Edward on the blog? Well I moved it down the page temporarily. Seth noticed. He like to hand out with me when I am working on the blog. So Seths just faking. He really like to stir the pot.
You know we were playing the "going on a trip" game last night and it was my turn for the letter "E". The only reason I didn't say, "I'm going on a trip and I am going to take Edward", was that my husband has been a little too negative teasy lately. So I didn't want to pick a fight. It sure would have been hillarious though. I think my kids would have gotten a real kick out of that one. It was the first E word that came to mind!
