This isn't the real cover, but it might as well be.
So I am always torn between running my blog (by definition a private place for my own thoughts about Twilight) how I would like to and pleasing my wonderful guests, who make this blog worth visiting multiple times a day. I have had may discussions with myself, read by all of you, about how unfulfilling it is to talk to myself on here. So I want to save the "what will happen in Breaking Dawn" discussion until closer to the release. But I don't want tortured blogger friends. I think we at least need to wait until chapter one is released in May. The ideal for me is that we all read the saga one more time before Aug 2, together, and then hold an end-all, be-all, discussion. But I am asking what you think, because I love you all.

Of course you all broke my heart about the idea to find out about the Breaking Dawn release together, so I am feeling a little vulnerable throwing this out there. So be sensitive. Do you have any idea how much time I spend on here? I must love it!
And I know you love it too.
I think it's a great idea for everyone to read it all together, one more time before BD comes out. I was actually thinking of doing that myself, even though I just finished the series a few weeks ago. So if everyone else is up for it, I'm game!
Also, I must say that I LOVE that cover for BD. Wow. Just looking at it makes me even more excited!!!
Well I am definitely up for reading it all together before August 2nd. That would be really fun! Think of all the fun posts/comments we'll have during that time! We'll have to decide a little further into the future when to start. So those of you who don't own all the copies can know when to reserve them at the library. (I'd be interested to know how long the wait list is on it still).
Also, that mock cover for BD is so awesome! It does make me more excited as well. I'd like to think that it is their hands... Why can't SM use something like that, or just that exactly, for the cover?! At least we'll get a sneak peak of the cover in May as well.
As far as BD discussion, I'm up for whatever. It's always fun to talk about, but it will be even funner after the excerpt in May. We'll dissect that thing to pieces! So I'm happy to wait if that's what everyone wants, and that will still give us a full 2 months to talk about it before it comes out.
We always have other fun things to discuss, plus, May is going to be here before we know it!
Freaky how time goes by...
I can wait to discuss until the excerpt is released in May (if I have to, I guess - JK). BD theories is a topic that could go on forever if we let it, so I am patiently saving (and revising) my many questions & theories.
And yes, we should re-read together. I am giving myself a little break first so it will seem fresh.

Of course I am all for reading it again, especially if it is an assigment.-I won't feel so guilty because I have never re read a book this many times in such a short time. Not to mention, I think i am already suffereing from short memory loss- because the quote thing I can never get. MA don't ever give me an assignement because I will fail and then I will feel bad. I,too,love the idea for the cover. Thanks again for all the time you give to this blog- it makes our day many times- even if we don't comment.

You, of course, know that I am already planning on re-reading the series before Breaking Dawn. And hopefully with The Host, Jane Austin, and searching for quotes, I can hold off until we get a little closer!! So, count me in - to whatever you decide!!
One more thing, it usually drives me too crazy to do much speculation about BD - but of course I'll come and enjoy the fun musings with all of you! And Ruth - you finished the series again?!
So you are all just giving me the happiest little feelings! This is going to be incredible to read it together. I've seen on the Lexicon, chapter discussions, and I would like to do the same. A question or two for every chapter. People can add as they go, to whatever sparks their interest. I will let you know the schedule! Yikes I can't wait. Oh and please let me know if you don't have your own copies. I will have an extra Eclipse and I have a very nostalgic extra paper-back copy of Twilight.
I cannot imagine a better cover than this. I mean watch, the real one will be something lame. Maybe a red umbrella that has been blown inside out. If I don't LOVE the cover art I might just print this one off and make my own.
Really those intertwined hands, the drop of blood, wow, so many thoughts and feeling are created with that image. It makes me ache to know how it all ends.

You know it really is going to be fun to read it all together, that will be something else. I also have an extra wonderful, beat up, paperback copy of Twilight to lend out. I may even get a NM in paperback as well in May,

And I forgot to say MA how much I LOVE the countdown! I've been talking about wanting a counter on our blog for months! Thanks for doing the research to find one that will work for us. Yay! It's quite exciting to see every time I pull the blog up. You've added some awesome stuff, it's so fun to see these new things. Thanks for the time you put in for our enjoyment too!
E, I did finish the series! But I never posted b/c I didn't really feel like I had much to say. I think the problem is that I read it too fast (like in one or two days) so I don't spend time pondering on what I've read. But this next time through, I'll be ready for the chapter discussions b/c I'm starting work on Monday. So now I'll have all day to day dream about our favorite couple! Maybe after my 3rd time through I'll have some guesses for the quotes of the week. (Sorry I haven't been participating lately. I think I'm more of a fill-in-the-blanks type of girl.)
Also, just a stupid question. But I saw NM in paperback here in England. Is it already in paperback over there in the US?

That's cool you already have NM in paperback over there, but I wonder why, that seems weird. It's not suppose to be in paperback in the US until May. Am I right?

This cover is to die for! I love it, thank you MA for searching it out. And like everyone else, thank you for the countdown. I laugh when I see it, because I have the dates for BD and the movie programmed as reminders in my cell phone. Although I have already pre-ordered BD from Amazon, so I will have it by the 2nd! Cannot wait! My mother in law is reading the series again, and she keeps saying that she feels like she should be reading somehting else, but she just can't bring herself to put it down. I love it! I am waiting to read again, at least for another week ;) I say that we truely rent a hotel room, maybe a suite, and stay up reading chapter by chapter together and discussing our favorite parts when BD comes out? Whadya think?
Crud!!! All the fun I have missed over the past week or so by not checking the blog. For some strange reason I thought there would be nothing new to see because I haven't received any comment responses in my email. I guess I forgot how it works. I really do LOVE the countdown calendar too. I will also plan on either reading or listening to the saga before August 2nd. I actually scheduled our ward girl's camp so that it wouldn't interfere with the release date, otherwise I would be holed up in a tent in the middle of the Uintas with earplugs in and telling everyone I had some highly contagious ailment and to stay away from my tent for the next 24 hrs - ha!! Either that or I would have to mysteriously be abducted by aliens on the evening of August 1st from our campsite (so that I could sneak off for the Barnes & Noble party at midnight).

We try not to take it personally when quality members like yourself take weeks off from visiting with us. We just feel sorry for you. Thats all. I mean look what you are missing.
And your wisdom is beyond your years on the girls camp scheduling. I have been thinking the same thing. Don't make any plans from Aug 1- Aug 2nd. Thanks for the reminder.
