Here is a link to an Entertainment Tonight's, behind the scenes of Twilight clip. It's really short to watch, but also very fun! Especially the little bit of Edward and James they show, the action looks great! Check it out.

April 7 -
This is old news but I haven't had a chance to post it. There is a great article about the movie being made. Here are a few highlight. Its one of the best articles I have read yet:
Interviewer: Having observed them throughout the day, their family-like qualities go beyond their acting. The Cullen actors were always talking, holding hands, laughing, and fooling around with one another.
Directing a film like this is exciting for any director, but Hardwicke is one who can embrace the content especially. "I got swept away, how it would be to be a teenage girl that's so obsessive and so in love with this guy," She even hints that she's aware of some little bits in the fourth and final novel from Bella's perspective, Breaking Dawn. "At least I know it, it's in my head. I'm sure it helps give me a little, you know, a little deeper perspective." Furthermore, Stephenie has given her bits of Midnight Sun, and she has made strides to use that knowledge in the film.
And even though we didn't have the chance to interview Kristen Stewart because of her classes, Hardwicke had some positive things to say about her. "You feel like she can be this girl that this family of cultured interesting vampires would be able to love her because she's so deep. She and Rob too have gotten so far into it and trying to understand and be these characters. I mean it's radical. They're living and breathing these characters."

April 6 - The Swan Residence. Really it's perfect. For more, try this link but these often change so good luck.

April 5 - Stephenie "stars" in Twilight. Well not quite. Here is an official statement from Summit about that.
"While expressing his excitement for Stephenie’s support of the film, a member of the film production staff inadvertently told an MTV reporter about Stephenie’s cameo appearance. There was no malicious intent by either party to “steal Stephenie’s thunder”. Of course Summit is sorry for the story being accidentally leaked to the press before Stephenie was able to do so. But being that it was an accident Stephenie is ok with the events that transpired."
Also, here is a statement in a report about the cafe that is the setting for SM's appereance.
"A scene from Twilight involving Bella, Charlie, and several Forks High students was filmed at the cozy and quaint Carver Cafe this week. And to answer your question, no you are not crazy; this is not a part of the book. It is however an important and pivotal scene in the movie that shows the conflict Bella is feeling over her not-so-normal relationship with Edward. It is also the place she bonds with Charlie."
April ? - If you die to see every photo of the set, here are some good ones. The students of Forks seem to be getting on a bus?

Here is one of my favorite excerpts from a description of filming as an extra. She says:
"So T. Coe and Dion tell us our directions and our marks and all the timing and cues that we were going to do. I find out that we are doing the scene when Edward and Bella are fighting in the hospital about the crash. So me and Raj have to walk down a corridor where in a few takes I bump into Nikki and Peter. After I go down the corridor I had to hurry around and loop back to where Dion was. I had to stand there until my next cue. Okay...this is where I about peed my pants. So Robert and Kristen and standing at the corner of the hallway with their faces about 4 inches apart leaning against the wall. I am standing right in Robert line of sight watching him act and say all his lines to Kristen. AHHHH! He has his contacts in, hair done, teeth bared as he listens to her say "I know what I saw!" EDIT FOR SPOILERS (SORRY I CAN'T WRITE ALL THE DIALOGUE In a few of the takes I walk in-between Bella and Edward while they are fighting and then in another take I actually follow Robert up the ramp. Watching Robert saying Edwards lines was absolutely thrilling! He IS Edward through and through! After Robert walks away from Kristen she turns around and leans against the wall and kind up slumps down all upset like while the camera zooms in on her tortured face!"
This does make me very excited to see this adaption of SM's book!
Now this is a little weirder, but well, its good to have checks and balances.
Also from an extra in the film:
And it was so funny because the Cullens would improv scenes at their lunch table, and at one point they were talking about what they could do with Bella since she was such a distraction to Edward, and Jasper was like, "Maybe we could just kill her or something," and Rosalie got all excited and was like, "Sounds good to me!" SO FUNNY. And Edward was all smiley and giggly and cute. And it's amazing how in-character they are. Like, Rosalie and Emmett were cuddling and canoodling all day, and same with Alice and Jasper-- even off-camera, they were just so cute together. And they joked around so much. It was awesome.
(this is the weird part)
One thing that they'd done for the movie costume-wise that I thought was cool even though it was nowhere in the books-- apparently they've added a Cullen Crest (for lack of a better word) and all the Cullens wear it-- Emmett and Edward (and maybe Jasper but I didn't really get to see) have it on a wristband, Rosalie has it as a necklace, and Alice is wearing it as a ring. I didn't get a very good look at it but it is such a cool effect.
So what do you Twilighters think of the Cullen Crest. It could be worse. Robward could be running through trees or something.
Wow! These were all very awesome to read! I love Stephenie's description of her day on the set. I can't even imagine how that must have been, to see these 2 actors saying these lines that she wrote from her own mind!! So amazing -- it does make me even more excited about the movie to read these kinds of things.
I love the picture, but a bus? Hmm..is Forks big enough for a bus ride? And yes, the Swan home is absolutely perfect, I can just see Edward running up and through one of those top story windows!!
I'll read up on the interviews I haven't yet and comment soon on them.
As far as the Cullen Crest, I'm not sure, not too bugged I guess. It is odd, but definitely it could be worse. Eventually we'll probably think it's even cool...is that going too far?
Ok, then I just saw the time and I've got to go pick up kids!
Sorry but it wasn't SM's description. Was that misleading. It was an extra on the set.
Oh that image of Edward and the window! I can't think of a slick little slang word for amazing, knock my socks off feelings.
Sorry, I should've paid closer attention to that. Still, a great description of that "Extra's" day on the set, cool no matter who you are!
I feel bad for Stephenie that her cameo was spoiled, darn that guy! How fun to not know at all, and see her on opening night as a waitress or something.
"Knock your socks off", hmm, I like it.
Speaking of socks. And not Mike's socks. That is cute and all but I just don't have time to update people on Mike Newtons socks. But did I see you RWV, with odd socks, to wear around your house, the other night?
I have a weird fettish about socks. I can't wear odd ones. It's not the colors that bother me, its the mismatched textures.
Sorry to tease but tis' the hour.
How funny that one of the few times I've ever done that you stop by, I didn't realize! Ha ha!
That's just it though, they are exactly the same texture, those fuzzy ones you know. Cold feet wanted those, but couldn't find the partner of either.
The Mike Newton sock thing is pretty silly if you ask me, sorry. I don't even follow up on it. But those of you that do, please enjoy.
It's a relief to hear that you had matching textures.
I didn't add these to the blog front page but there are interviews with Laurent and Victoria on the Lexicon. I just scanned them. Nothing much new.
Oh and there is a video out of Robert and Kristen waiting for a scene. They are laughing about the moms that drop their kids off at the park and then come to watch the filming. They aren't making fun of those moms neccessarily, but they are laughing about it. I'm sure it is crazy to them. Almost every actor in this movie is a teenager. I hope Robert never stumbles on a Twilightmoms post where they fainting about his face or hair. He would probably be scarred for life or something.
But speaking of pretty Robert, he came in #19 on the list of the 50 hottest yound actors. What is the deal with saying people are HAWT. Is that better some how than regular old hot? I am quite aged so I don't get it. Looks kind of stupid to say someone is "hawt". But what do I know.
The website for that list is themovie-fanatic.com.
So I finally took a look at the #10-#20 hot actors and Robert is definitely the best looking out of those.
Blah! Some of them are down right dorky and they beat out Robert. Lame.
Anyway, beyond trivial here. I am done.
That must mean they're extra special good looking, like on fire or something, you think? Hawt, where's my homegirl to confirm?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
If you haven't seen the latest update on here, you will LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was very cook!
Yay! I'm SOOO excited you saw the update I added, it's been a bit lonely today. I knew you would love it! Just that little bit huh! That is going to be so awesome on screen, to see the action we read about in the books. To SEE Edward kick the you know what out of James, and then kill him of course, I wonder if Emmett and Jasper will help out in it.
I just love it, and also, to see the dent in the van and Edward dive to save her. Such a short clip, but so awesome! Very cook indeed!
So, I watched the little clip of "Jacob" - he is very cute. Cuter with short hair though, I'll have to get used to that wig. I think it'd look better in a pony tail, what the crap does James need to have long hair in a pony tail for? I didn't take a second thought about it until I just watched it. Isn't Jacob's hair described as being in a pony tail for most of Twilight? Hmm. Oh well, I can't get hung up on stuff like that. I think he'll do great though, very cute smile, which is important. I'm sure he'll grow and mature quickly, like teenage boys do, and maybe they can use him for the sequels too. I guess we'll have to see how well he really does do in Twilight.
I love the dance studio footage.
Do you have a link to the Kristen/Robert video talking about the moms? Do these women seriously drop their children off at a park and leave them there? Or is it near where they are filming?
And the wig does help with the Jacob look, though I wanted his hair to be straighter and shinier. I know, it is such a terribly big deal. But I think he will be okay. At least his voice is deep. I just couldn't deal with a soprano/tenor Jacob.
The Cullen crest is weird to me. I don't imagine the Cullens having the idea that they are this cool, exclusive group. Just doesn't fit with their attitude. Oh well, maybe Alice had a stint as a fashion designer & it was her logo - then, naturally, it would be on their clothes/jewelry. Ha ha.
Ha ha ha! That's hilarious BFB-- what you said about Alice's logo.
And oh my goodness! What a great video of the ballet studio scene! Yay!!! I'm very excited now.
