Quote #1: "Now I really feel guilty. He's been much, much kinder to me than I deserve."
Quote #2: "They found faint traces of human scent, and human blood, along the trail..."
Quote #3: He kissed my hair. "You love me more than I deserve."
Bonus: "You know that you nearly gave me a heart attack? Not the easiest thing to do, that."

Ok then, start guessing, do I need to say the same rules apply as always? Now how to decide who gets which...here goes:
#1 Esmessence
#2 Betchafeelbetter
#3 Twilightmom
Of course every blogger is welcome to guess (just one guess on one quote per day.) We'd love to have as many people join the search as would like to.
Anyone know the bonus?
That's the one I don't know. Very good. I'm actually excited at this point. Hope it lasts.
And I don't know the bonus. I mean I can hear him saying it but I've forgotten EXACTLY where. Yeah I think.
Did you have fun finding these?
Yes, I did have fun finding these.
It is funny how a part sticks out to one of us more than another. Like concerning the bonus for instance.
I really hope the excitement lasts too! I know how you like being on my end of things usually.
I bet you get it though!
Okay, my guess for today:
How about after Bella has cried all night about saying goodbye to Jacob?
No sorry, but very good thought, that does seem like a familiar place for it to be. I almost want to give you a hint, but I won't until you ask...
It just can't be this but here goes . . .
In the kitchen when Bella is on the phone with her Mom and Jacob, in Eclipse of course.
Tonight I do not like this game.
Well, at least you're guessing. The game isn't as much fun if no one is guessing. Oh well, start guessing the others that you know if it stays this way.
Sorry, that's not where it takes place. You are in the right book though...oops.
By the way, where's my picture?
My deepest apologies, but it will probably have to wait until morning. Sorry. Sometimes my husband insists on hanging out with me. Glad I like him a lot.
It's ok, really, I'm sure you would've added one eventually. I'm actually going to sign off for the night. Not much sleep this week, sick kids will do that, and starting to feel a bit icky myself.
OK, I think mine has something to do with the Quileutes. My first guess is in the Legends chapter. When the tribe is tracking the girls who were kidnapped from the other tribe (Macaws?) by the cold ones.
I know the bonus. I'm pretty sure on #3 and I have no clue on #1
Who knows where the bonus originally was written?
Alright, I don't know if I will be able to stand this all weekend. Since I DON'T remember where the bonus is written, how could I possibly have a clue where it was originally written, or what the crud that even means? Hmmm?
And instead of being glad I can't remember everything ever said and where in TW, I am mildly bugged. Can you tell?
But don't give into my nastiness yet.
So I do have a guess on my quote, and ha, ha, ha, I knew #1 immediately, anyway here goes failed try #3.
The tent scene perhaps?
BFB, I'm impressed, here I thought that part was so dull and maybe unfamiliar. You have quite the memory. I even had to look it up again to see if it was when they were looking for some girls somewhere? So, nice, you got it.
We'll have to decide what to do with #1 since Erin is without internet for such a long time. What do you think MA?
MA...good job! You got the the tent scene, now do you know which part of the tent scene, or perhaps what they're talking about?
Also, tell us the origin of the bonus, I'm not sure...it's familiar in more than one place, but share your thought.
Well I was thinking it is after that horrible stupid part of the book that I don't even want to name.
When Bella is freaking out in the tent and Edward is telling her it's okay and he doesn't blame her, etc.
But I can't imagine you even touching that part.
The only other place would be when they are listing their favorite nights together, but to me it doesn't fit there, but Ahhh what a long time since I have been in that part of the book. Don't know if I can resist a peek. Should I or should I not?
BFB is ridiculous. I would have NEVER guessed there because I only remember about 1 moment from those boring pages. I will have a lot to catch up on. I still wonder if they aren't many clues hidden in that Q. stuff.
I am copying and taking this post to Erin tonight so that she can work on her quote. I didn't even realize you had already responded until I copied and pasted and there was a comment I hadn't read. I am going to be her mouth piece. Maybe she and I can figure out the bonus tonight together.
You are very funny when you are peeved TM. You remind me a bit of Bella in the compromise chapter, when she thinks everything is going her way and then suddenly they are not. Edward is quite amused. As am I at you.
And I confess that I have read the Legends chapter in its entirety every time I have read the books. I don't know why. Perhaps it is a bit of real OCD that compells me to read every word. And I have wondered occasionally if it will come into play more, but I really don't know that it will in BD. I do think we might hear more about it when SM writes another person's point of view.
And I have one question. (Call on me, please.) When Edward is taunting Victoria about the werewolves and he asks "Is he really so different?" (from the one James tracked)and she says, "Not the same?"
What the crap are they talking about? James has tracked a werewolf across Antarctica?
I don't understand. Someone help me.
Actually I'm a little embarrassed that as the avid fan I am, I have only read that once, and not carefully. I will try to be more OCD. I do claim it as my disorder. But that would be Obsessive Cullen Disorder.
And excuse me, but where is our bonus origin explanation. You can't throw scraps to hungry pups (werewolf pups of course).
Well, I'll tell you first, but then you should peek to be able to recall this wonderful part. So, yes it is when they are listing their favorite nights together. Bella lists one of hers as the first night back from Italy, and Edward is surprised because Bella didn't even think he was staying, and Bella says it didn't matter because he was there with her again. That's when he gives the quote. Go read it really! (Of course I wouldn't touch on that yucky part!)
Now seriously BFB, I can't even tell you how many times I have asked and wondered about that exact line during Edward and Victoria's little conversation nearing her demise. I know it must be some kind of foreshadowing for the future, it must! Maybe to prove that there really are other werewolves out there. It was actually Siberia where James tracked the thing, but that has gotten me since the 2nd time I read that part. (I actually missed it the first time, to anxious to move on I guess.)
So, if anyone has a thought great, otherwise it's worth bringing up at our BD discussion don't you think?
I think we'll even have to have a chapter discussion on that one too I suppose, right? No, we really should, and look for any kind of foreshadowing.
And excuse me too, where is our bonus origin explanation? I can't remember exactly...
So...where is everyone on the rest of these? No guesses on #1 yet, and then of course the bonus. Any ideas yet MA? How about that origin explanation BFB?
OK, the origin of the bonus line.
It is in the original epilogue of New Moon - the one where Jacob does not tell Bella that he is a werewolf.
It is on SM's site, titled "If Jacob didn't break the rules" - page 12.

Obviously, it is slightly different, but this is where it started.
Oh, and question on #1. (Can I start taking guesses?) Is this Bella talking to Jacob?
I'm going to call Erin tomorrow and see if she has a guess on #1.
I am going to make one lame attempt at the bonus:
I suppose it is not when Bella has snuck off to see Jacob and Edward is waiting for her in her room?
Thanks for the details on that BFB. I have only read that "extra" once, since it seems so seperate from the true story, as it is now. I would never have remembered it was there.
Sorry, that's not right on the bonus, but it's not lame, a very good guess I think.
I'll wait to answer anything on #1 until we see what Erin says.
I knew I had read that somewhere else, but I would have never guessed that outtake for it. Thanks!
I'm here, for a second at least...so i'll hurry and make my first guess - I think that it is in Eclipse, it sounds like it is after Edward decides to let Bella spend some time with Jacob. I think she says this to Jacob, one time when they are together - on the beach maybe?
Hey, very good guess, but I'm sorry that isn't right. Right book though!
Good to hear from you, hope to have you back soon.
How very matching brained of us. I just called Erin and told her exactly that. Her quote is wrong, but the book is right.
She is hopefully going to call me back later with a guess.
I added picture, simple and sweet.
Love the picture, thanks for adding it! Very simple and sweet!
So Erin called me last night and was stumped on her quote.
So I gave her one more clue.
It's not Bella talking.
Bing - she got it very quickly after that. Think about it BFB. I will post her guess in the next comment.
Is it when Rosalie is telling her story to Bella and when she realizes how little Edward has told Bella and how he describes Rosalie, then Rosalie says:
He's been much kinder to me than I deserve.
We wont hear from RWV for a while, but I already know this is the right answer.
New quotes coming tonight I hope. And I am going to take one last stab at that annoying bonus. Going to think a little more.
Be back.
The last one I couldn't figure out had something to do with Rosalie.
I guess I just don't think about her when it comes to quotes. I have to stop only thinking of Bella & Edward! (Or maybe not...)
THATS IT!!! I can't stand it anymore. Please take pity on me one of you and tell me where the bonus is. I've thought of several more places but none of them seem right!
Hurry.
It is after the fight with Victoria, Bella says that she wanted to help, but there's only so much that she can do. Edward glares at her so severly that she stops talking at that point. And he says something about her little stint with the rock nearly giving him a heart attack.
Oh my goodness!! I am so giddy right now. That was going to be my next guess. Don't believe me but it was. I talked myself out of it because I kept thinking I was taking his statement too seriously. I am so proud of my little head for coming up with that even if I was to gutless to guess it.
Very satisfying morning. Thank you.
BTW, your first guess was how the line takes place in the original ending.
