Oh wow! What beautiful stuff...those calendar pictures are AMAZING! I LOVE the look of their pale skin, it is beautiful. I can't say enough about them, I'm so glad you posted them here for us! How about that one of Carlisle in his baseball jersey... Every one of them is breathtaking, that's the perfect word to describe them. Hmm, what will my dh do if (when?) I buy that calendar for 2009...
Looking forward to reading up on all the other news you posted, I've been wanting to check out that comicon stuff more.

Alright, so maybe I MIGHT be getting sucked into to all this movie hype - great pictures...but I can't see the the interviews(not the right ones?) Great new pics by the way!
So the link takes you to the EW.com video page. You have to select the SM interview there. They are labeled 1,2,3,and 4. And then there is one with Katherine as well. But the 4 part are really worth watching.
So I was liking that in this calendar picture here, his arm actually looks kind of strong, not skinny. And Kristens look is so Bella. LOVE THESE!!!
And yes loved the Carlisle baseball. Love the "just rescued" look on B and E's faces. And love the tree shot. But I wish someone could explain to me why Ms. Hardwicke is so obsessed with Edward and trees. I mean for heaven sake. I really think maybe she read it wrong in the book or something. That calendar tree picture though is stunning.
And Kristen looks much softer in all of these pictures. Almost like, like, Bella.
Oops my one criticism, too much jewelry for Bella. Simple though and feminine but somehow I pictured her jewelryless.
Love her hair. And that shot with just her, the eyes are perfect!

I too have wondered how the trees came into this thing. Whatever. Maybe Katherine had dreams about flying through trees when she was a child.
I also pictured Bella without jewelry. Really, the girl has a raggedy purse, one skirt, and wears no makeup. But they made Kristen more rugged than I pictured Bella. Even though she was simply dressed, I didn't picture her as the earthy TEVA-wearing kind of girl, which is sort of what she reminds me of in the shots I have seen. And those girls do wear jewelry. It is just made out of quarts crystal & hemp.
I forgot to say (why i feel obligated to write all of these thoughts, I don't know), that I even love the prom shot. They both truly look beautiful (not the clothes, blah, but the characters). So sweet.
So Katherine likes the stunts. I couldn't tell. (JK.) Anyhow. She is funny.
I liked Edi's comment in the MTV blog clip - "I feel like a rockstar."
And Rob's reaction was funny. He really isn't used to having lots of vocal fans. "If I took my shirt off the screams would die out pretty quick."
And his answer to "I love you Rob" - "Good." Too funny.
