This is my favorite tid-bit. An interview with the music supervisor for Twilight, (but not about Twilight). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLFIyFXhhHU She is apparently a big name in the industry and talks about how she chooses the music, etc. You know the song "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol? Well obviously this woman didn't know about Twilight when she mistakenly used that song on Gray's Anatomy. It made Snow Patrol famous. That's not how I found the song. I just heard it once on the radio and knew it was written for Bella and Edward. Anyway if Alexandra Patsavas (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0666031/) uses your song on that show, it basically becomes a huge money maker. It gives me great hopes for the Twilight movie music!

I like the foggy tree picture. Very moody - it could be a couple of different places. Like when Bella goes walking in the forest outside her house when she has just learned Edward is a vampire, or perhaps the hike on the way to the meadow. Or when Edward kills the tree by the school parking lot when Mike asks Bella out (JK - that's Midnight Sun, but I would love to see that.)
Anyhow, fun atmosphere!

Okay just tortue me some other way. I HAVE to know if this is the prom scene or not. I absolutely have to know. The only hope I still have of finding out is that several extra's have said that they have been picked for the prom scene. Let us only hope it is going to be in the gym of the Portland High School. I don't even care what scene they shoot at that ugly old inn, just please not the prom. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

So I am realizing that one really good reason to keep people away from this location would be because it is the end of the movie? Maybe? Setting myself up for extreme devastation!
Hmm, that's interesting information. Which part of the end of the movie are you thinking/hoping? It really could be anything, it's not like they're going by the book anyway, this could be something extra for all we know. (Please not the prom scene!)
So I know we've heard about them being in the trees before already, but why?...

ALICE AND ROSALIE WERE BEYOND BELIEF ADORABLE

STEPHENIE MEYER WAS THERE YOU GUYS.
I HUGGED HER

(I hope all those jumbled letters aren't naughty. The only online lingo I know comes from the gangsta girl Cullenicious. If these letters are inappropriate, I apologize).
But I thought this was a great summary. There are a few little bits I will share later, but nothing significant.
I've never heard of the tree talk before, besides Edward watching Bella read from one, is that it? That would be very fun to read!
That's different than them being together in trees though, running over the tops of them together or whatever it was that was said.
I love that summary from the extra, very fun to read. It's so great to hear that SM is on the set so frequently, that gives me more hope for things.

I don't know if this whole tree-top mystery thing will ever be resolved before the movie. It's good to be warned don't you think?
Ok, I'm so relieved to hear from Peter that there is no flying in the tree tops. So what I'm thinking is this: maybe they film him kind of coasting along on this cable so that they can capture the effect of him running really fast. Because he could never actually run as fast as Edward. But if they shot from the waist up with the scenery flying by, it would give the illusion that he is running super fast. Then they could do some CGI parts with his feet moving. I don't know, I'm hoping he isn't jumping through the tree tops...
I think I had the link saved, but all the Lexicon links have changed now so it is no good.
I will have to go looking for it(while I am listening to conference...don't tell anyone).
That's actually what I was thinking but even more hoping, that they were trying to capture with the whole tree top thing. Just a way to show how fast he can run. Who knows, I should prepare myself for the worst though.
Here are Stephenie's exact responses on the Lexicon about the tree being uprooted. (It was in the same thread as the beautiful sleeveless shirt picture).
"The most common vampire reactions to stress or anger is utter stillness. They freeze in place.
Also, they do break things occasionally because they are distracted by the stong emotions and forget to moderate their strength (that takes a little concentration).
Ha ha--there is actually a tree uprooted by an angry/jealous vampire in Midnight Sun."
She later elaborates in response to questions:
"On page 144, when Mike does a better job of asking Bella on a date before school at the picnic tables, that is the moment when Edward (supposedly out with his family "hiking" during the nice weather) accidentally uproots a young tree while waiting to hear Bella's response to Mike's invitation. It's quite easy for him to hear the entire conversation from several hundred yards away in the woods on the other side of the parking lot, not only the spoken words, but also Mike's thoughts."

BFB I have asked this before but I don't know if you remember. There is another statement on the Lexicon from SM where she describes Edward watching Bella read and then fall asleep. He goes out to see what she is reading and it freaks him out when he sees his sparkling skin compared to her.
I cannot find it. Do you have any idea where that is?
That is so cool BFB! I've never heard that or read that before! So when is it that he's asking her on a date again? I can't remember that part in the book. Is it in regards to the beach, I may have to look that up. That really is so fun to read and picture. And I'll say it again, I can't wait for Midnight Sun!!!!!!!
I do remember that part about him watching her read MA, but I don't remember where it was found. Is it not in any of your printed stuff?

This comment is in regards to the Billy Burke interview.
He left me a little worried. Parts of the interview, and his personality I really liked. Other parts, well, they turned me off but had me worried.
He said he can't bring himself to finish even the 1st book. Ahhh!
But he did say something very profound at the end. And since the dumb Lexicon is so stuck up you can't copy and paste any of their interviews, I had to trascribe this quote myself. So you better appreciate the effort, my one fellow blogging partner.
Billy Burke's message to fans:
"I know there are a lot of people who hold extremely high hopes for this movie to be as precise a depiction of the book as possible. I assure them all, everyone here shares in that spirit. I would only suggest to the fans that they open their imaginations to the film as freely as they did when they opened the book. If some things are there that weren't in the book or perhaps "missing", just embrace it and go for the ride, man. Understand that as hard as it may try, a motion picture can only be an adaption. It can never be the book. Enjoy."
Well that was profound, and well said. So overall, I like him, I am sure he will do just fine.
Seriously, ITBS, while you've been typing this I was reading the interview for the first time and trying to copy and paste that last message to the fans because I thought it was so great. We never cease to amaze me with this...gift?
So I enjoyed the interview, he's kind of jerk, not what I was expecting to read. But he's at least just being himself, not pretending to be someone he's not. I could appreciate some of his answers definitely though and that last message to the fans was what did it for me! Thank you Billy, great advice! And I do think he'll do just fine as Charlie, really.
Anyway, yes we do have work to do fellow blogger fan, and I do appreciate the transcript!

As far as Edward & sparkling next to Bella - I checked through Stephenie's comments on the Lexicon and I don't see it in those. Perhaps it is in the personal correspondence? I will look later after I do some "responsible" things. (sigh)

Oh, and I found in TW where Mike does ask Bella out on a date again, of course! So I read it and then pictured Edward in the distance uprooting a tree limb...super sexy.
I've read it somewhere too, so it isn't even just you and your disjointed twin sharing thoughts/conversations :)
