With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

More for the Unquenchable

So really I am as busy as everybody else. But being a blog owner is a serious responsibility. So that is the only reason I am still posting here when no-one else is. I hope I have got enough on here to keep people happy for the next week and 1/2. I will be settling into insanity in a few more days (unless you consider it more insane to be taking time for Twilight the week before Christmas). So what was the point. Oh yeah. The Lexicon, I am assuming in an attempt to help quench unquenchable fans like me, posted this link to a Canadian newspaper article about the Twilight Saga: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20071217.wmeyer17/BNStory/Entertainment/home
I didn't think it would be all that interesting, but when I gave in and read it, since I have had nothing to read from any TA members lately, I found it very good. I'm passing it on to you. Good luck shopping. (Don't forget to walk past Twilight books when you see them, and smile, or buy yourself or loved ones a few copies.) Oh and if anyone goes to the mall, see if you can guess which poster in a store window reminds us of Edward.

Hello to me, and everyone else when you finally get to read this. I am adding to this, inspired by the discussion Erin's sister started (vicariously through Erin and without her knowledge of this blog at all), a little more about Stephenie Meyer's writing. Correction, just a blurb about SM herself. This article gives some really great insights into her motivation for adding certain things to her books and presenting them the way she did. Did you all catch them?

I am still amazed how normal she seems to have remained with all this chaos around her now. It reminds me of one of her best quotes,
Someone asked SM in an online QandA session
"Can we be best friends"
SM's reply:
"Sure. Let's get some cheesecake and talk about pretty vampire boys."
Really, how cool is she?

Let's all be her best friends shall we? Very simple, and blissful requirements. And sorry cheesecake lovers, of which I am a huge one, but I could be happy with this arrangement even without the cheesecake!

Mmm, cheesecake and pretty vampires. What else is there?

I spotted "Edward" in the Southe Towne Mall on the lower level by the elevators...hmm, anyone else? Oh yeah, you can't miss him. Remember in Twilight when they're hiking to the meadow for the first time and he's just wearing a sleeveless shirt unbuttoned, well there you go. The description fits. All you who are curious now, I'm sure you can find some reason to go to the mall, although I'm not sure how long he'll be up. But so fun. I've thought of taking a picture of him but my saneness (word?) took care of that.

By the way, I can't pull up that article to read it without having to pay for it. Is it too late or something? Or do I have to register with that site first? Let me know if there's something tricky about it, or maybe that's just what happens after a certain period of time.

I did some research and yes, that article is gone from every link I could find. I am considering buying a copy, because it was THAT good. I'll get back to you.
