With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

Twilight Music

So, many of us have started swapping wonderful songs that remind us of Twilight. SM has her own play list for each book, but these are songs that just show how music reminds us of anything and everything Twilight (silly but almost every song does for me right now).

Anyway I would like to compile a list of these songs, so put in a comment any that inspire TW for you, and explain how it applies. I hope this will be fun. And I know I am not alone in this habit.

Yeah - you know how excited I am about this...the only one I have found is the Rascal Flatts one. but you decide if that makes the cut or not, I totally will not care if it doesn't. You know I love all of your choices!!

I'm so glad you're keeping track of all these great songs. I think the Rascal Flatts one totally fits with Twilight, it's so perfect for that part of the book. I will keep listening to the radio more carefully and hopefully find more! I'm excited about this too! Hopefully everyone will share any songs they've found that are a fit for Twilight!

I have way too many of these. Some of my favorites that my friend, Jaime, and I have discussed (feel free to comment any time, Jaime) are "First Time" by Lifehouse and "Little Things" by Colbie Caillat. Ooh, another one is "Let Love In" by the Goo Goo Dolls. Really, there are so, so, so many. Jaime has some others I can't remember off the top of my head. Hopefully she'll share...

Expect to hear from me atleast daily on this post! Another song I love that reminds me of Twilight is "Calling You" by Blue October. It makes me think of Edward and Bella and when he's watching her sleep. And how he is always protecting her, even when he's gone.

I just came across a song that reminds me of how Edward feels about Bella while she's sleeping. It also makes me think back to how Bella feels while she is on the plane returning from Italy. It is a called "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Mark Chesnutt. (I don't usually listen to county, but I love it anyway). It is a remake of Aerosmith's song by the same title.

Cool. I actually listen to country quite a bit so I wonder if I've heard it. Where did you find this one? Could I hear it on youtube or something? Good to find one referring to this stuff, I don't think we have one for that yet. I can't wait to hear it.

Here are a couple of you tube versions of the song:

Mark Chesnutt (I have no idea who the family in the video is, but the only other option I could find with the song was Broke Back Mountain scenes - yikes!)

One of my other favorite "Twilight" songs that I listed in a different blog is "Written in the Stars" by Elton John & LeAnn Rimes

I am listing the words to this song under a very old post. But this song makes me think of Bella and Edward so very much. I just can't believe how perfect they are together and how very badly I want to see them live "happily ever after"!

Here is a website to listen to the song: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=so+close&hl=en&sitesearch=#

"So Close" (feat. Jon McLaughlin)
from the movie - Enchanted

You're in my arms
And all the world is gone
The music playing on
For only two

So close together
And when I'm with you
So close to feeling alive

A life goes by
Romantic dreams must die
So I bid mine goodbye
And never knew

So close was waiting
Waiting here with you
And now, forever, I know

All that I want is to hold you
So close

So close to reaching
That famous happy end
Almost believing
This one's not pretend
Now you're beside me
And look how far we've come
So far
We are
So close...

Oh, how could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?

We're so close to reaching
That famous happy end
Almost believing
This one's not pretend
Let's go on dreaming
Though we know we are
So close
So close, and still
So far...
