With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

Quote of the Week, Dec. 26 - Jan. 2

Since this is Christmas, I thought a quote about gifts would be appropriate. You have to find both quotes this time.

1. Quote #1: "And speaking of Italy and cars I stole there, you still owe me a yellow Porsche"

2. Quote #2 "Are you going to take her Porsche back?" "Of course not. It was a gift."

Can you find them?

I know for sure about the 2nd, but not quite about the 1st...I'll have to think about that one a little longer. I remember thinking it was funny when I read it because of how Alice worded her part of the conversation.

I think they are both in the same book - but I guess I'm not positive...I'll have to think fast it sounds like!

I found it! I found quote #1

I am slow, I know but it sometimes comes in handy. I just happend to come upon quote #1. It is from chapter 2 of Eclipse, just as they are getting into the volvo. Alice says it from the back seat. This was the first day back to school after being un-grounded.

This has to be the most excited I have gotten. I'm gonna catch up with you guys some day.

Yay! Good for you vampirelover! I'm so happy that you're so excited! It makes me happy. So did you happen to come across it because you happen to be reading Eclipse right now? If so, you're in for some good stuff!

Anyone else on the 2nd one? I know it, so I can't guess, but it's actually pretty easy, and it's in a very good chapter...

I was reading and remembered seeing it on the blog page yesterday. I jumped up and ran to the computer. Jackque was using it, so I kicked her off and told her this was more important! I ended up ruining one of her music video downloads and now owe her. It was worth it!! I'm glad you did'nt make fun of how slow of a reader I am. It is my goal to finish Eclipse before the kids go back to school. Wish me luck!

I really think you'll like Eclipse, and I definitely think it's a possibility to finish before the break is over.
Good Luck!!

My first guess for the second one is in Eclipse...the chapter where they get to be together at his house - the night before the fight, where they are teasing about the bed...well maybe it's earlier - the night she ends up sleeping on the couch, then he moves her to the bed?! Crap, I'm not sure...but one of those times where she had done something stupid and he of course is all forgiving! But I'm pretty sure it's something that Bella asks Edward, because of something she did - Alice not being able to contain her like Edward wanted...Obviously I don't have my Eclipse back yet!

So, no one has got the second quote yet right? It is in Eclipse. You're very close Erin, in fact you're right on one of those.

Shouldn't we be getting a new quote today?

Ok, here it is for sure, the second quote...in Eclipse, pg 190. Alice was holding Bella 'hostage', after she ran off with Jacob - again. Bella had gone to sleep not on the new bed, but on the couch. But, in the middle of the night Edward moved her to the bed, and she woke up next to him. And he was insisting that he really wasn't mad at her..."didn't you see Alice when you go home?"
"yes, why?"
"Are you going to take her Porsche back?"
"Of course not. It was a gift."
I wished I could see his expression. His voice sounded as if I'd insulted him...

Anyway, great scene - can you guess how I got this?

Great! I can't guess how you got this, unless it's that you finally got your Eclipse back?? I hope so!

Yes, yes!! My sister finished it and brought it back to me yesterday! This was one of the first things I did!!

So I already told VAMPIRE LOVER in person, HOORAY! We love that she kicked her daughter off the computer for this very amazing moment. Congrats again on quote #1.

Erin, well this is just the best news. Now I was already going to give Erin credit, because for a girl to guess so correctly without her book available, well that is just stellar. But now you have it back! Excellent research and enjoy Erin. I miss my Eclipse so much. Chapter 20 is my herion. (that is actually a quote from a Lexicon member, but I am afraid it applies whole-heartedly to me as well.)

New quote coming later tonight!
