With only a week and a day left until the movie, can we stand the excitement? There are so many new interviews that I can't keep up anymore. Don't miss my new post about why.
Here is a gorgeous picture to get you through. Our next post will be the movie discussion!
See you at the movies.

A HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT

What do you get when you take a non-reader/homebody and immerse her in a world with her dearest friends (we are your dearest friends right vampirelover?) where they go to lunch all the time and talk about nothing else but vampires? You get a major breakthrough for that non-reader/homebody. We would like to congratulate Vampirelover on finishing over 1800 pages of some of the best fiction EVER, in record time for her. And we are thrilled that she not only puts up with us, leaves her cozy covers to hang out with us, but is now hosting our Twilight get-together this week. That is real friendship don't you think?

So please send a shout out to her!

And vampirelover, please tell us what you loved about the books besides the vampires of course. Although you are still free to elaborate on them.

Yay! Good for you vampierlover! You are seriously so awesome. I wondered if you'd ever finish, no I knew you would, but I wondered how soon it'd be. Perfect timing for the next meeting. And honestly, we kind of owe all this fun to you. Perhaps we would have come across the books eventually on our own, but it was your idea for MA's gift in the first place. So thanks!
Also, I would love to hear what you really think, now that you've finished them. Now you'll know everything that we're talking about when we get together. Yay!

Good job Vampirelover! A similar thing happened to another person I know. . . she hadn't read a book in a very long time but now she's addicted and can't seem to stop reading every book in sight. She even has her neighbor going to the library for her! Thanks SM for your inspirational books!

Congrats! It was great to meet you last night.
And, question about the cozy covers - do you knit? Because I do - that's another one of my sometimes-obsessions.
Or is that an inside joke?

I will let Suzanne answer for herself about the knitting part. I actually don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. AND if she doesn't know how, it wouldn't take much for her to learn.
But the cozy covers I was referring too are the literal ones she would often rather stay under in her bed than get up an go to lunch with us on a Saturday. I am a night-time cover person myself. To each her own.

Duh - you can tell I'm a knitter because when I hear "cozy" I think of those crazy things that the Brits use to cover everything from teapots, to toasters, to eggs. The newest knitting books all seem to include a variety of crazy looking cozies. I don't get it.

Now that I understand that you meant bed covers, I have to say that I am very much in line with Suzanne on that one. There isn't a whole lot that can actually create a desire in me to get out of bed in the morning.
